Pumpkin Bowl Casserole for Halloween Night

Every Halloween I would struggle to get my kids to eat a decent dinner before they donned their costumes to head out into the night for their annual hayride around the neighborhood where they would trick-or-treat with their friends. I finally hit upon a dinner that fit the bill. This is a casserole that is baked inside a whole pumpkin. As you serve it, be sure to scrape some of the baked pumpkin flesh with the casserole. The only thing that’s not edible is the skin of the pumpkin!
