Ingredients
| 1 | Loaf of Firm French Bread (Thinly Sliced) | |
| 3 | Pre - soaked Cucumbers |
Instructions
Pre-Soaked Cucumbers:
Cucumbers, peeled, very thinly sliced and soaked in 1c.
water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. sugar, and 3 Tbs. white vinegar for
one hour in the refrigerator.
Butter mixed with freshly chopped basil.
Butter the slices of French bread with basil butter. Top
with one or two slices of cucumber.
Notes
Serve open faced on a beautiful china plate with tea and a friend.
