Description
These are delicious as is, but they are especially tasty when served in a salad.
Ingredients
| 2 | c | Whole Almonds or Pecans |
| 1 | c | sugar |
| 4 | T | butter |
| 1 | t | vanilla (Add this after cooking) |
Instructions
Mix all ingredients and heat over medium heat until sugar melts and coats the nuts. This will take about 15 minutes. Stir constantly and do not let this burn! Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour onto freezer paper on the counter. Using two forks, pull the nuts apart before they cool. Sprinkle with
a bit of sea salt.
