Celebration Classic World Futurity You are cordially invited to attend the 22nd annual Spring Celebration Llama Sale to be held on April 9–11, 2010 at the prestigious Heritage Place in Oklahoma City. For those who have never been, this is an opportunity to see hundreds of the top llamas in North America and to meet llama owners from all over the U.S. and Canada. For those who have been, it is a chance to renew acquaintances—join in the festivities and enjoy the new and exciting additions to the weekend’s activities.

We will begin with the Celebration Classic (an OPEN double halter show and a walking fleece show) on Friday, the preview and auction on Saturday and the World Futurity show on Sunday. Don’t forget the Celebration pre-sale party at Embassy Suites Friday night—hors d’oeuvres, live music and a no-host bar. All Celebration Sale buyers will be eligible to win a Martin Eichinger bronze ―Out for Exercise specifically cast for the sale (valued at $4,700).

Saturday, the 10th, is the presentation of Herdsire Row followed by the individual and hands-on preview of the sale consignments. The sale will begin at 12:30pm. Darrell Anderson is our auctioneer. Everyone will have an opportunity, prior to the sale, to go around and choose the ―people’s choice‖ suri and silky llama (both male and female). People’s Choice awards will be made during the sale.   Celebration Classic World Futurity On Friday, the 9th, ―OPEN double halter and walking fleece shows will be held (ALSA and ILR Show Division sanctioned). Classes will include suri, light/medium wool, heavy wool, non-breeder, GOS and POD. In addition to being in the regular classes, the Argentines will have their own set of classes. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded as well as Best of Show. Halter judges are Hank Kauffman and Jan Gordon. The walking fleece judge is Maryan Baker. On Sunday, the 11th, the World Futurity will be held. Silky and suri classes will be offered for males and females under two years old in two age groups. In addition, a GOS class will also be offered. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded for the ―top 10 in each class. The judges are Donna Rudd, Phil Feiner and TBD.
